Free Resistance Band Workout Tracker — Log Every Set and Band Level
Working out with resistance bands is convenient. Remembering which band you used last time isn't. Log exercises, sets, reps, band colors, setups and effort — and when you return to a movement, your previous workout appears beside your current entry.
How to Use the Resistance Band Workout Log
- 01Add your resistance bands. Brand, color, type (loop, tube, mini, fabric) and the manufacturer's range if you know it. Colors aren't standardized between brands — "Light Loop" is a fine name.
- 02Pick an exercise. Band rows, chest press, lateral walks, pull-aparts, curls, overhead press, squats, RDLs. Record whether the band was anchored, doubled or used with handles.
- 03Log sets, reps, setup and effort. Actual reps and the exact band setup. Optional RPE and a note like "stepped farther from anchor".
- 04Save and compare with last time. More controlled reps with the same band and configuration may show progress. Switched brands or anchor? Record the change rather than comparing.
| Exercise | Band / setup | Set 1 | Set 2 | Set 3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standing band row | Medium tube, door anchor | 12 | 12 | 10 |
| Band squat | Heavy loop, under feet | 12 | 12 | 12 |
| Band pull-apart | Light loop | 15 | 15 | 14 |

How to Track Resistance Band Progress Without Exact Weights
Band tension changes with stretch length, setup and the product itself. A label reading "20–40 lb" is not a constant free weight through the whole movement.
The tracker shows progression by exercise and band setup. It never claims to calculate pounds lifted from a band color.
