Where Lovable falls short
In any Lovable vs Leanfinit comparison, it's fair to say Lovable is a large, capable product. TechCrunch reported a $500M annualized run-rate in June 2026, and G2 reviewers praise its speed and UI quality. But reviews and public records point to the same problems again and again.
Credits drain while the AI loops on fixing its own bugs, there's no cost estimate before you start, and on bigger projects context slips and old bugs return (G2 4.6/5, 435 reviews).
Negative reviews describe credits running out fast, billing problems such as duplicate charges or an unexpected currency, and credit limits that block larger projects (Trustpilot 4.2/5, 1,767 reviews).
Security is the other worry. CVE-2025-48757 (CVSS 9.3) described missing row-level security in generated Supabase setups that let unauthenticated attackers read or write tables in about 170 apps; Lovable disputed the classification (source).
Lovable's own incident report says a regression exposed the chat history and source code of public projects to logged-in users from Feb 3 to Apr 20, 2026. It has since been fixed (source).
Lovable is also web-only. Its FAQ says it "does not generate React Native projects" and points you to a PWA or a Capacitor wrapper set up outside Lovable (source).
