Free Calisthenics Progress Tracker — Track Your Skills and Bodyweight Strength

Working toward your first pull-up? Trying to hold a handstand longer? Calisthenics progress isn't always more weight — it's one more rep, a longer hold, or a harder variation. This tracker records all three.

What Is a Calisthenics Progress Tracker?

A workout log designed for bodyweight training. Traditional strength trackers focus on weights, sets and reps; calisthenics needs more: a pull-up is counted in reps, an L-sit in seconds, a handstand in both hold time and progression level. A useful tracker supports all three.

Reps
pull-ups, dips, push-ups
Seconds
L-sit, plank, handstand holds
Stages
muscle-up, front lever, planche progressions

How to Track Calisthenics Progress

  1. 01Choose your main goal. Strength (more pull-ups), skill (first muscle-up) or consistency (3 sessions a week).
  2. 02Record your current level. Pull-ups: 3. Push-ups: 20. L-sit: 8 s. Handstand: wall-assisted.
  3. 03Log workouts. Reps per set, seconds per hold, variation per skill.
  4. 04Track skill progressions. Edit the stages — nobody's path is identical.
  5. 05Review. More pull-ups? Longer L-sit? Harder handstand? Training consistently?

A harder variation may cut your hold time. That's not regression — you're measuring a different skill.

Calisthenics Tracker vs. Regular Gym Tracker

Gym tracker records
Bench press — 135 lb × 8 reps. Progress = more external load.
Calisthenics tracker records
Handstand — freestanding × 8 s. Pull-up — bodyweight × 10. Front lever — tuck × 12 s.

Common Calisthenics Tracking Mistakes

  • Counting reps without form.Use notes when technique changes.
  • Mixing variations.Tuck and full front lever are different records.
  • Ignoring timed holds. For static skills, seconds are the metric.
  • Too many skills at once.Prioritize what you're practicing now.
  • Only recording PRs.Regular sessions give context.
