No-code PWA builders in 2026: who's really offline, and who charges for it
“Mobile app” on a pricing page often means a website with an icon. The difference shows up the moment the signal drops.

The three questions that separate them
- Is the output a real PWA, with a manifest so it installs with its own icon and opens full screen?
- Does it work offline? That needs a service worker and data stored on the device, not just an installable icon.
- What's the cheapest plan that publishes it, and does that plan include your own domain?
Most comparison tables answer only the first. If you want the how-to rather than the tool choice, start with how to build a PWA without coding.
The tools, side by side
| Tool | Real PWA output | Offline | Cheapest plan that publishes (USD per month) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Glide | Yes, every app | Not documented | Basic $25 | Free plan publishes 0 apps; no App Store at any price |
| Softr | Yes, Professional plan and up | No, per Softr’s docs | Pro $119 ($99 billed yearly) | Built for portals and internal tools |
| Adalo | Yes, Builder plan and up | Not documented | Builder $65 ($52 billed yearly) | PWA needs a custom domain; same plan publishes to the stores |
| AppSheet | Not called a PWA | Yes, with background sync, on all plans | Starter $5 per user | Per-user pricing; built on spreadsheets and databases |
| FlutterFlow | Web deploy on free | Not documented | Basic $39 for your own domain | PWA specifics not documented |
| Thunkable | “Mobile web app” you can add to the Home Screen | Not documented | Plan not stated | Store publishing on paid plans |
| Appy Pie | Yes | Not documented | Basic $16 per app | No free plan, 7-day trial |
| Bubble | No native PWA; via third-party plugins | No native support | Starter web $39 | Strong for complex web apps |
| Lovable / Bolt | Web apps; manifest and offline on request | Only if you ask and test | Lovable Pro $25 / Bolt Pro $25 for your own domain | Credit or token based |
| Leanfinit | Web app, published to the web | Yes; runs on the device, no server | Free during the beta | No App Store during the beta |
What the table means
- If offline matters (a stockroom, a basement gym, a flight, a farm), only AppSheet documents offline support among the no-code tools, and Leanfinit apps run on the device. Test any other tool with airplane mode before you commit; here is what an offline tracking app needs.
- If you need it in the stores too, Adalo is the one in this list where the same plan publishes both a PWA and store apps. Glide never publishes to the App Store.
- If many people will use it, per-user tools such as AppSheet and Softr get expensive; per-plan tools don't. App builder pricing compared has the full table.
- If you already live in a spreadsheet, AppSheet and Glide start from one. If the spreadsheet is the problem, there's another way.
Test before you pay
- 1Add to Home ScreenOpens full screen, not in a browser tab.
- 2Airplane modeIt still loads.
- 3Close the appThe entry you made survives.
- 4Icon and nameYours, not the builder’s.
On the free plan or trial, publish one test app and check four things on a real phone: Add to Home Screen opens it full screen; airplane mode still loads it; an entry survives closing the app; and the icon and name are yours, not the builder's. The PWA how-to walks through the test. To see the offline case working, open a jump rope counter that keeps working without signal and switch on airplane mode.
FAQ
What's the best no-code PWA builder?
For offline use, AppSheet or a tool that runs the app on the device. For a polished app from a spreadsheet, Glide. For a PWA plus store apps on one plan, Adalo.
Which no-code PWA builders work offline?
AppSheet documents offline with background sync. Softr's PWA doesn't work offline. Most others don't document it; test with airplane mode.
Is there a free no-code PWA builder?
Many have free plans, but most stop at publishing: Glide's free plan publishes no apps. Leanfinit is free during the beta, including publishing to the web.
Can a no-code PWA go on the App Store?
Through a wrapper such as PWABuilder plus Apple's $99 a year, or by using a builder that also makes native apps.

“A stock count for my shop: item, how many left, minimum. Items under the minimum turn red and go to the top. Works offline in the stockroom.”
